CP60 chromium carbide overlay clad plate is one of the most versatile wear resistant materials currently available in the market, it offers excellent resistance to abrasive wear under moderate impact conditions.
CP60 generally comes in standard 3000 x 1500mm sheets but can be made in sheet sizes up to 4000 x 2000mm with an overall thickness range of 6 – 40mm. Virtually any alloy / base plate combination can be supplied with the overlay thickness ranging from 3 – 17mm and the base thickness ranging from 3 – 30mm.
Our material has a high chrome alloy overlay with a nominal 4.5% C / 32% Cr Composition with small additions of manganese and other elements achieving a microstructure / hardness of 60 – 63 HRC.
